Industrial Calibration Gas

Gas detection instruments of all types need regular calibration. Over time an instruments calibration point will shift for various reason.  Age will deteriorate the sensors if absolutely nothing else happens. If the gas monitor is used for testing it will be exposed to gases. Exposure to gases deteriorates the sensor in accordance to the amount of gas the sensor sees. Large gas doses are extremely detrimental to the sensor and will immediately effect the calibration. That is why it is very important to not let anyone expose a flammable gas sensor to a butane lighter gas just to see if the monitor will alarm. The sensor is similar to an element in a light bulb and you can quickly burn it out with high doses of butane. Other types of sensors react similarly to over exposure. Gas monitors should be calibrated every time they are used.  We sell all types and size containers of calibration gas.
